Updates 2008-07-12

Fake got several updates Saturday 2008-07-12. These are the main ones:

New buttons

The buttons are more 3D. They have the colour of a nice butt, and when you press them, they turn into the colour of a well spanked butt.

The right column

The right column is totally re-organized. The important stuff is more to the top now. The bookmark-button is placed on top right instead of somewhere on the page.

There are generally less ads for logged in members now. You have a big ugly ad right on top of your house though, but those ads should be targetted to what you have written in your house, so it can't only be bad... (Says the greedy pimp who wants all your cash!)

Small stuff

You have a button for a random wiki-page, you can comment on a diary note in your own diary, you get hints if the one you're commenting on in a forum is a member of an other forum where you might want to place a reply, members automatically watch wiki-pages they comment on, you can watch the comments to polls, and there are many more estetic fixes, bigger textareas and such.

Last visitors

You now have to click on "Add me" to get added to the last visitor list, so you'll get fewer people there, but you'll know the ones you get have actually pressed that button. There is also a last visited page, so that people can see if you have been a good Faker and visited many houses.

Previews

You now have preview-buttons so that you can check how the pseudo-HTML looks like before submitting it.

Mood history

Your mood-editing have moved to your house. But you'll get history of the previous moods your friends have had. So if someone writes "I went there", you can see it afterwards even if you weren't active at the site at that moment.

Updates 2008-07-28

You can invite people to a wiki-page! Everyone will only be invited once to a wiki-page, so there is no risk that anyone gets flooded with invitations from a single wiki-page even if everyone sends everyones invitations to it.

Orders of the wiki and member changes are in order of with the last update first now.

It's now easier for the crew to badge people.

Everything, especially the forums and the wiki-pages, is much faster now.

There is an "Interesting people" button down to the right. Click on it to come to people whom are watched by someone who is watching the same people as you.

Updates 2008-08-03

You now have the Main items on watch, unless you start to unwatch them. And the new messages and guestbook messages links only appear if you have something new there.

Updates 2009-01-24

You now have new poll-tags: <rate> <srate> <arate> <sarate>

Note: They only works in the wiki!

Please comment on this page if something isn't perfect! There are probably loads of bugs and mis-features because the upgrade is so extensive.

2008-07-13 [Hight]: Heh so many people complaining about the new features. Strange how this always happens with change, instead of getting used to the new benefits and discovering how it is better, people whine because they are lazy :P

It's more user friendly for new folk :P
I like the way you change the greedy title depending on the site :P

And it's the same as the background we're using. OK, fixed (Reload!). I didn't like the white either.

But I'm not interested in adding small graphics everywhere that are just annoying in the long run and take too much work to add.

2008-07-17 [Virgin Slut]: [彼のお媛様]: There are three buttons missing there (polls, blocks, go to next posting). So I don't think I can fit the lady to the right there. Too many people have too small screens. But she could fit on Main actually, or on empty wiki-pages (Background-colour problems?)

You seem to have a problem with the right part of the "Sexypoints" text being cut off.

The colours look nice, and if I get a stylesheet starting with @import url(index.css); and the left border image, I could add that as an option.

<img:http://fake.swedma.com/logoZa.jpg> is from a contest, so I don't think I should replace that without a voting among the Fakers.

Back when the first contest was held, I had no photoshop skill at all. Nowww I do.

And yeah.. I was too lazy to go back and fix what I had accidentally cut off of it.. lol. xD

and missing buttons and such not was cause I should have made the buttons a tad smaller, cause they do look a little too big for what I made. its a simple fix. :]

2008-07-20 [Your Brompton Cocktail]: ok people, if you dont like how it looks, why dont you learn the site, you can always change your style sheet, i have mine on index/fake.css, i didnt even notice the button changes, exept they are bigger, but all i really noticed where the text box, and organizeation of the column, so quit bitching about it, learn the site, and fix it your own damned self!..thank you
